BETWIXT

BETWIXT is a site-specific, digital installation situated in the forest of Ballinlough that explores the artist's experience of dissociation and hyperreality. BETWIXT depicts a character involuntarily escaping reality, disconnecting from thoughts, identity, consciousness, and memory. The surreal imagery and captivating sound illustrate this descent into madness, revealing the permeable connection between bodily experience and physical space. This work creates exciting & dynamic energy using the natural environment juxtaposed against bold, vivid colours from a digitized virtual world.
